About Us...
Our family lived off-grid for six years in the mountains of Eastern Washington. Although the first years were difficult, we had fun learning how to live simply. After telling people of all of our adventures, and hearing, "You should write a book." over and over, God finally showed me that that was exactly what He wanted me to do.
My husband, Mark, encouraged me every step of the way and helped me through many tears, as I was writing about some pretty heavy things. We have been married over 20 years now and I can't imagine life without him. He is my best friend and encourager. I love him so much!
I have three amazing kids - Mark Aaron, Storm, and Sarah. I enjoyed homeschooling all three of them. We had our rough times, but I can honestly say it was all worth it. I now have a relationship with my children that I never dreamed possible. Our oldest son recently got married and are expecting their first child! Storm is a CNA at the local hospital and really enjoys working in the ER. Our youngest, Sarah met and married her husband when we moved to Mexico! They have two children - Felicity and Nathaniel who are a joy to our family!
That's where all of this leads; to relationship. Homesteading and homeschooling has brought us closer together as a family and I am seeing all of the hard work pay off as I get a glimpse of what heaven will be like with our relationship with Jesus Christ.
